Table Wine

Table Wine is a wine that contains a very low volume of alcohol- under 14%. Table wines are served generally with food, hence the name; table wines, because they are found on dinner tables world-wide.

These table wines are generally quite affordable and easily accessible if you are of age to purchase alcohol; over eighteen-years old in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Japan you have to be twenty- ears old. In the United Kingdom, a parent can purchase wine for a five-year old if they wish. A sixteen-year old can buy alcohol to drink with meals and an eighteen-year old can then purchase alcohol for any purpose. France, the country known for fine wines has a drinking age of eighteen years-old. Italy has no drinking age and in Germany sixteen-year olds may drink wine only. Hard liquor they can buy after they reach the age of eighteen.
