Australia Wine

Because the climate of Australia is, for the most part, warm and dry, the resulting grapes from the vines planted there are large, vigorous and bursting with flavor. Originally, the vines planted produced the red wines, but today Australia produces not only red wines, but white wines, table wines, and fortified wines. Most of Australia was fortunate enough to escape the epidemic of the phylloxera and other diseases, dues largely in part to their excellent and strictly controlled customs inspection.

As a wine aficionado told me recently,

“Drinking wine is not something you can explain in one simple sentence. It is more than just pouring liquid into a glass to satisfy a thirst. It is tasting culture, the sweat of mankind, the toils of honest labor, and the richness of the soil.

Wine is to be contemplated, discussed, analyzed, and enjoyed, and if two people are sampling out of the same bottle, their tasting experiences will be completely different from each other. That is the beauty, that is the simplicity and that is the joy of the world of wine.”
